Greene King Sponsorship provides a new set of racing oars

Greene King have announced that they have donated over £500,000 to grassroots sports clubs via their Proud To Pitch In community fund. We’re so pleased to be one of the clubs funded. In March 2022 we were awarded a grant to enable us to purchase a bespoke set of wooden oars. This has helped us get more people from the local community to enjoy the sport of rowing and for our racing crews to be more competitive. Thank you to @GreeneKingIPA for their support!

Junior Travel Support

Dated  8 July 2022

Brixham is an all-inclusive club, and our junior rowers are a highly valued part of our membership. It is noted though, that the current high fuel costs can be a barrier to some of our junior rowers being able to attend regattas, so, to assist parents, who, like many, are finding things tough, Travel Support can be claimed. Travel Support will be paid at the rate of 15 pence per mile, when a Regatta is over 25 miles away from Brixham. If a parent is travelling, and can transport additional juniors, that would be a great help to the club and other parents.

This will be reviewed when fuel prices fall back to below £1.50 per litre.

To claim, simply complete the Travel Support Claim Form, found on the club page of Brixham gig website, and email it to goddardp370@gmail.com
